The Montgomery County, TX Chapter was chartered on April 14, 1986.

Our chapter has bestowed and won several awards:

• The White Violet Award for 50 years of service was awarded to Marilyn Phillips.
• The Certificate of Merit, given by National Council, is awarded for 7 or more years of extraordinary service to the fraternity. Recipients of this award have been Marilyn Phillips and Betty Macaulay.
• The Ultraviolet Award is given to 1 person per district. This award was bestowed upon Marilyn Phillips in 2000.
• Lone Star Award is given for 15 or more years of service, and was awarded to Martha Bautsch in 2000.
• The Zeta Lady distinction is given to the ZTA alumna who has helped the President and Chapter the most. This award has been given to Donna Hughes and Lesa Russell.
